As the audience of the unique outdoor screenings of Songs Of Earth, your contribution is very valuable. As researchers from University of Oslo and Lund University in collaboration with the filmmakers we are seeking to understand the impact on the film on different audiences’ relatedness to nature, identity, emotions, and behavioral intentions related to nature protection. Insights from this research will contribute to literature on the role of the arts in sustainability transformations.

We will be analysing responses from audiences across Norway after the 5th of August screenings and future cinema screenings.

The research project is led by researchers Karen O'Brien, Manjana Milkoreit and Diego Galafassi. It has received ethical approval by Sikt.
